How to cut the fat from your mail budget

If only dieting were this easy! You can improve your response rate, while increasing sales and profits, by using the most recent counts to plan your next mail campaign.
#1: Use mapping services to target your primary marketing area and cut the low-return, wasted areas of the mailing.
#2:
Get accurate updated counts. You have two choices: from our online count and order system, Just login here or Get accurate updated counts from our website counts system.
#3: After the campaign, analyze your responses to remove the least responsive key codes. This step eliminates wasted areas with poor response from your next mailing.
New Quick Count CD
If you travel or require counts on a CD for your system, we've just released a new "Quick Count" CD. Our clients use this tool in many ways, such as:
- Loading it to their workstations for quick, accurate counts
- Using it when traveling on their laptop
- Giving many people in the company access to the information by loading it on their company server
- Pasting the counts into customer proposals, by using the Excel feature to “cut and paste counts”.

Consumer List: Names and addresses of individual heads-of-household in the U.S. For those who require a contact name, or have a special promotion that applies to a certain audience, use our named consumer list. Carefully target your list to mail efficiently, improve response and reduce total cost.
Resident List: Reach every prospect with all deliverable addresses in the U.S. This is the least expensive list to rent, and the list qualifies for the lowest postage rate available. This list is double-checked for accuracy through patented software to verify address quality.
Resident Plus: Use this list to reach every household in your targeted areas, 70% with names. The lowest postage rate goes with this list because it is ordered in carrier route walk sequence.
Business List: Reach all deliverable business addresses in the U.S., many with a contact name.
Mapping: Map your customer base by ZIP code, carrier route or radius from your business location(s), to visually identify target areas and prospects. Mapping saves you money because you only mail to areas that are in your targeted market. You can map by radius, boundary area, location or distance from locations.

How to prepare to test response
Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3...
You have multiple options to prepare your test response. Try these:
- Key code the mailing piece
- Key code the mailing package
- Key code the promotional offer
- Key code the pricing of the offer
- After the campaign, analyze your responses and remove the least responsive key codes. Eliminate the areas that showed poor response. Your next mailing will be more targeted.
